My Job Preaches

I was thinking about writing about my daughter and how I see the message of the Gospel all day just interacting with her. Some of you might relate to that. God often uses children as a picture of his people. Likely, I will write about her at some point but not today.

Today, I want to encourage you to reflect at your workplace, wherever that is, at home, in an office, in a classroom, driving a car. I believe that the Gospel can be seen almost anywhere in almost any situation. Where there is sacrifice of one person for another, not necessarily physical death, but giving up something for someone, that is a picture of the Gospel. Sacrifice.

Jesus says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit” (John 12:24).

Where do you see the Gospel being reflected at work today? Be encouraged by it.

How can you be the Gospel at work today? Do it.

Feel free to comment and share your story of the Gospel at work. I’d love to read them.
